How we collecttext message consent

A public description of the LuxeAssist text message programme - who sends it, how members opt in, what we send, and how to stop.

The consent control shown below is reproduced exactly as members see it inside their account. It is shown here so that anyone can review how consent is collected without needing an account.

Who sends these messages

LuxeAssist is the trading name of Luxury Assist Company, a private membership concierge service. Text messages sent under this programme come from Luxury Assist Company and are signed LuxeAssist.

This page describes how we collect consent for those messages. It mirrors, word for word, the consent control shown to members inside the LuxeAssist app.

How consent is collected

Members opt in inside their account, at Settings → Notifications. They enter their mobile number, confirm it with a six-digit code we text them, and tick a dedicated checkbox. This is exactly what they see:

Send me text message notifications from LuxeAssistLuxeAssist will text you reminders, booking confirmations, account notifications and your daily summary - around 1-2 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Shown unchecked by default · consent is optional

Five properties of that control are deliberate and are not varied:

  • The checkbox loads unchecked. Consent is never pre-selected, and never inferred from signing up.
  • Consent is optional. Members can join, pay and use every part of the service without ever ticking it.
  • It is its own checkbox. Text message consent is not bundled with email preferences and is not buried inside the terms of service.
  • The disclosure names the sender, what we send, how often, that rates may apply, and how to get help or stop.
  • The number is confirmed before anything is sent. We text a one-time code and only start sending notifications once it is entered, so we never message a number a member does not hold.

Members can withdraw consent at any time by unticking the box; removing the number is a separate action.

03

What we send, and how often

Only service messages tied to a member’s own account:

  • Reminders the member has set.
  • Booking and appointment confirmations.
  • Account notifications.
  • The end-of-day summary, at a time the member chooses.

Typically one to two messages per day. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the member’s carrier and plan.

No marketing by text

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not sell or share mobile numbers or consent with third parties for their own marketing. Numbers are used only to deliver the notifications described above.

Stopping messages, and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from this programme. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@luxeassist.ai.

Members can also turn text messages off inside the app at any time, without contacting us. Turning texts off does not affect membership; notifications continue to arrive in the LuxeAssist mobile app.
